Leila Gibney has been at Orion Worldwide for her entire career and celebrated 12 years in June. At Orion, their mission is to provide additional value to advertisers by delivering incremental savings on media campaigns. As a VP Client Business Partner on the Client Strategy Team, Leila is responsible for ensuring Orion is providing maximum support and client satisfaction, as well as overseeing over 15 accounts, a number that continues to grow. Leila oversees her team’s deliverables and spearheads Orion collaboration with their agency partners on each account. She also reports the health of her portfolio to Orion Leadership several times throughout the year and acts as a liaison between all other departments at Orion, ensuring alignment on each account’s needs.

In 2018, Leila relocated to the Boston area to grow Orion’s footprint in New England. Since the move, she has loved the challenge of being remote, the different culture that Boston embodies, and especially getting to know fellow IPG sister agencies, MullenLowe, Mediahub, and Hill Holliday.

Having been at Orion Worldwide since graduating college, she has spent years developing as a media and client strategy expert, now holding VP status at the company. Since her move to Boston, she is continuing to master her craft while upholding Orion’s core values of “work hard be nice” and expanding her Boston network.

For the first three years at Orion, Leila was a member of the media buying team where she learned how to negotiate Local Broadcast. While on the media team, she gained an appreciation for the intricacies within the media community, and it served as a foundation for the role she holds today.  In 2011, she transitioned to Client Strategy and has been fortunate enough to work on several different accounts, collaborating with all teams at Orion, and their agency partners to ensure Orion’s value proposition is well received.

Passionate about her work, Leila credits her success to dedication, drive and perseverance. She looks forward to connecting with like-minded professionals.
