Katrina Kay Harris is the business owner of S & J Healthcare Services, LLC, which specializes in ensuring compliance is met in the areas of required trainings needed in order for organizations, businesses and individuals can maintain licensure and certifications.    Katrina established SJHC in 2019 and she has continued on the path of growth and success since then.  She believes that efficiency is the key to success and is the basis for which she works.

 

She started out by providing services to private business owners and gradually with constant hard work and efforts, has gained expertise in facilitating trainings for staff of community organizations, nursing homes, day care centers, foster group homes, developmentally disabled group homes and multiple individuals.  She has also expanded her domains to set up Consultations for Foster homes, Behavioral Modification Treatment Centers, and Recovery Homes, Business Solutions, Event Coordination including destination weddings.  She also creates and designs Video Tributes, Programs, Brochures, Obituaries, DVDs, Collages and Flyers.

 

Katrina is a licensed social worker in the State of Ohio, having a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work maintaining a 4.0.  She also holds a Master’s Degree in Sociology with a generalist perspective which included concentrations in mental health, criminal justice, substance abuse and juvenile justice.

 

Katrina has been married to a wonderful man for 10 years.  She is the single mother of one daughter and the proud grandmother of one granddaughter.  Katrina is the only child, raised in a household with her mother, maternal grandmother, maternal aunt, and uncle and three cousins.  They are a close family, and her grandmother is the reason for the relationships.  Katrina’s grandmother was strong on GOD, family, and unity.  Katrina is the daughter of a single mother, with father involvement and a very supportive family unit.  Katrina was raised in church and has a strong belief and faith in GOD.

 

Katrina is known for her professionalism and excellent communication skills.  She firmly believes that the success of her company is through the grace and mercy of GOD and her desire to help others succeed.  In her spare time, Katrina enjoys going to church, cooking, spending time with family, loving on her granddaughter and traveling.

Based in Shawnigan Lake, British Columbia, Canada, Laurie Harding is an Indigenous Anti-Racism Educator, Facilitator, and Coach as well as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Victoria. Laurie is personally and professionally invested in human rights broadly. After facilitating thousands of discussions with health, mental health, justice and child welfare workers across Canada in BC, Ontario, and Manitoba, she was morally compelled to examine how to stop the stereotype harm of Indigenous peoples.

Laurie completed her Doctor of Education degree in 2018 with a research focus on Indigenous specific anti-racism. Her thesis can be viewed here: Thesis: What’s the harm? She continually learns from, consults and collaborates with Indigenous mentors and Indigenous and Settler anti-racism leaders in exposing, examining and interrupting Indigenous specific racism. Laurie is a member of the BC Association of Registered Social Workers. She is invested in supporting staff working in colonial systems by debriefing systemic racism and supporting system accountability.

Dr. Vanessa Montoya is Adjunct Professor at Olivet Nazarene University. With over 17 years of experience in her field, she has taught at nearly every level and specializes in dual language, ESL, bilingual education, reading resource specialist, and Spanish as a foreign language. She is also a skilled coach in biliteracy and instruction, and highly experienced in coaching teachers on behavior management, backwards design, PLC implementation, curriculum development, and professional development.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at Roosevelt University, Vanessa went on to complete master’s degrees in Curriculum and Instruction, and in Bilingual Education. She then earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Walden University, and has taught students at the graduate level for over a decade.
 
Passionate about her work, Vanessa models the “I do, we do, you do” with teachers in classrooms as well. She is proud single mother of two grown children, one of whom has also gone on to become a Spanish teacher.

Tina Kelley is Housing Director & Treatment/Trans Housing Intake Coordinator for A New Entry, Inc., where she manages the facilities and admissions for two facilities. The firm provides affordable residential substance use treatment services that is effective and at a more accessible price point than most insurance deductibles. She is passionate about her work and loves to help residents and their families on their road to healing and regaining control over their behavior and wellness.

Known for her expertise in organizational management, Tina ensures each person who may seek or need treatment, housing and care can receive personal, focused attention. She joined the staff at A New Entry four years ago, serving as a Monitor/LCDC-I, and has steadily moved up the ranks into her current role.

Based in Austin, Texas, in her spare time Tina is an avid reader. She credits her success to dedication, drive and perseverance.
