Melanie Philion has worked more 10 years in technology as a Functional Consultant. Working in the technology industry was never on her radar. Previously, she worked in Sales in Marketing in different Canadian companies until her supervisor came to her and advised her to work in technology.

Today she is highly skilled in Technology, Consulting, Sales, and Marketing. She is a Power Platform Consultant in CRM, Dynamics 365 (Flow aka Power Automate,PowerApps, PowerBI) and oversees the implementation of Microsoft CRM 2011 or 2013, 2015 in companies training end users and super users to use Microsoft CRM.

In 2011, Melanie jumped into a different career path and never looked back. She started in her new position at ADNM International, a company based in Laval, Quebec, Canada, as a CRM Functional Consultant. In this role, she learned everything about Microsoft Customer Relationship Management, a software that helps companies to managed sales activities and supply customer service.

While working at InMind, she had the opportunity to work with important customers like the Veterans Affairs of United States.  During those years, she got married in the Dominican Republic,  a place that was also not on her radar until she decided to go on an all-inclusive vacation in Dominican Republic with her future husband. That trip turned into the best adventure of their life and developed friendships with people that will last a lifetime.

In 2016, Melanie and her husband decided to relocate to the United States. She started the long journey of requesting her green card and got a new position with SIS based in Atlanta, GA. In 2017, her husband, their 2-year-old son, and their lovely dog Moka, moved to the United States of America. Even though the countries are side-by-side, they are so different. She says the experience is entering into a completely new country with a new language, new rules, and new processes.

Simone Aubin joined the print industry in early 2000 and started her career as a project coordinator. She has since worked her way up to her current role as VP of Corporate Operations at Trico Packing and Print Solutions. Simone has a vast knowledge of direct mail and commercial print applications. Her focus is customer centric while actively running lean operations and producing high-quality products. Simone’s responsibilities include production efficiencies, strategic planning, formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning of resources. She has prided herself throughout her career on implementing strategic change to increase quality, productivity, and employee satisfaction.

She earned her degrees in LAN Design and Applications Development, Toronto School of Business (1999) and Business, Algonquin College (in progress). She excels in Printing Direct Mail, Operations, Product Management, and Project Coordination.

Passionate about her work, Simone credits her success to dedication, drive and perseverance. She looks forward to connecting with likeminded professionals.

Saundra Covington hails from Fresno, CA and is a High School Graduate of Centennial High School in Compton, CA, and attended some college after. She is the wife of an Over The Road Driver, and they have been married to the over 16 years. She has written a book entitled “The Truck Drivers Wife Holding Down the Home Front”- a collection of shared experiences, challenges, and rewards that she has encountered being married in this Industry. The book will be shown at the London United Kingdom April Book Fair.

She wishes to share her experiences being the Wife of a Over The Road Driver. Their world in is not the norm, adjusting to unexpected occurrences, and staying together through devastating losses.

She is currently working from home trying to adjust to the world’s new normal. She is speaking at events sharing what they are going through while simultaneously assisting with their Trucking Company while her husband George is out on the road.

Saundra  has a Spotlight in the following magazines: DreamSpire Books January Edition and Pretty Women Hustle January Edition. She credits her ongoing success to hard work and never giving up.

Jana Wardian is an Assistant Professor for Research in Internal Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication at Northern Arizona University and attended graduate school at Arizona State University earning her Master of Social Work, and Doctorate in Social Work in 2015.

Her unique position with UNMC is as an academic coach in the Division of Hospital Medicine (HM). She primarily mentors hospitalists in reaching their professional goals which include improving patient care through quality improvement (QI) projects and research studies, presenting their findings, publishing their work in peer-reviewed journals, and strengthening their application for a fellowship.

She will be presenting at two national conferences this summer; the American Diabetes Association (ADA) ePoster Gallery & Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ADCES), where she is conducting an education session with Elizabeth Beverly, Ohio University.

She truly enjoys connecting with health professions instructors as they co-develop  curriculum to educate their students about the social determinants of health (SDH). She continues to seek innovative ways to teach others about SDH to improve patient care.
