Angelica Meyers is an entrepreneur and the founder of BuGaxa, a clothing brand established in 2020. Created with the unapologetic fashionista in mind, the brand celebrates mothers and daughters and offers a finely curated range of modern, wearable designs. Inspired by her own family, Angelica launched the brand to humble beginnings and has become a true success story.
 
A highly skilled project manager and IT professional, Angelica also serves as Project Manager for T-Mobile, where she has spearheaded the transition of millions of dollars in Enterprise accounts between major cellular companies. She has over 15 years of experience in marketing and wireless communications, and is passionate about the future of technology. Over the course of her career, she has worked in marketing global tech leaders such as Google, Lenovo and Motorola, and she is known for her ability to drive monumental change.
 
Angelica holds an associates degree in Marketing and General Management from Lone Star College, and is in the process of completing her bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Houston-Downtown. She is committed to lifelong learning and professional development, and upholds a leadership standard that requires the highest level of authenticity and ability to foster real connection. She understands the importance of empathy in leadership and is passionate about helping others to make the world a better place.
 
Angelica resides with her family in the greater Houston, Texas area. She credits her success to passion, focus, consistency, and a positive attitude.

Jennifer began her accounting career as a Staff Accountant in 2013.  For the following five years, she rose through the ranks to Senior Staff Accountant, Accounting Supervisor, Assistant Controller, to her current role as Financial Controller.

She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from Ohio Dominican University (Division 2/NAIA Collegiate Athlete – Softball), and a Master’s of Business from Lake Erie College. She is a proud first-generation college graduate. She firmly believes that having women at the decision-making table provides a diverse perspective which will lead to better decision making throughout an organization. Jennifer will always stand for equality.

In her current role she excels in financial budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditures, inventory, as well as month and year end closings. When asked about what she likes about working in Coating Technology/Manufacturing Industry, she says, “Our coatings are not only prevalent in everyday life but are also essential. It is great knowing our industry has a positive impact on society.”

Offering over 15 years of experience, Kathleen is a tenured associate and project manager at Stantec. Driven by her collaborative and determined nature, Kathleen plays a pivotal role in many of the office’s major pursuits and active projects. She is skilled in managing complex projects on both a large and small scale. As an experienced project manager, she is known for her ability to create beautiful projects from the ground up. Kathleen has worked on a variety of civic, hospitality, and themed entertainment projects over the years, including several confidential theme park projects, Imagine Clearwater, and Casselberry Art House.

 

Kathleen attention to detail and passion for people drives her to be a huge asset in promoting company culture in the workplace. She is part of Stantec’s Social Group Leaders and runs the Orlando office’s social committee, which includes employee recognition, book club lunches, team building initiatives, and more. She has also managed different company-wide initiatives, including a series of workshops that encouraged creative conversations by building a culture of innovation, imagination, passion, and community.

 

Kathleen’s strengths include project management, client management, business development, and event programming. She is also involved in a variety of professional organizations, including the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) where she serves on the Events Committee. Kathleen recently planned and hosted a TEA event at the Stantec office, which included a night of fun, games, and networking. She recently became a member of the Women’s Networking Association and looks forward to building lasting relationships with this group of inspiring women.

Dr. Sarah Gonzalez Noveiri is visiting Assistant Professor of Media, Film, and Journalism Studies at the University of Denver. She holds her PhD in Communication Studies from University of Denver, her Masters in Communication and Media Studies as well as her BA in Public Relations from St. Louis University. Her dissertation was Lebanese Colonial Hang-ups: Anti-Blackness in the Middle East and the Kafala System.

A media and social scientist with 7 years of expertise in digital rhetorics, social media analysis and qualitative mixed method, she is the author of two primary original research publications on media use by diverse populations.

She offers a wide array of experience leading the development and fulfillment of new and existing social research projects with an ability to assess research methods needs related to both qualitative and quantitative methodologies as evidenced by 3 publications, 2 publications in progress, and 8 conference presentations in national and regional communication associations.

Sarah is known for her strong communication skills with an ability to manage dedicated projects relevant to survey design, ethnography, data analysis and the presentation of complex findings, as evidenced in 8 conference presentations. A Kathleen Farrell Outstanding Graduate Student 2016, she was recognized as an outstanding graduate student who has promoted public welfare, political enlightenment or social awareness in community, civic or academic arenas.

Sarah is a Member of Psi Theta, Saint Louis University’s chapter of the National Communication Association’s Honors Society, Lambda Pi Eta, recipient of Inclusive Excellence Fellowship, 2017 University of Denver, top student and top debut paper in Intercultural Communication, Western States Communication Association 2019, Dean’s Dissertation Fellowship, Communication Studies department, University of Denver 2020-2021, National Communication Association Doctoral Honors Seminar 2020, and The CAHSS Student Research Award Grant, University of Denver 2021.

Mery Molenaar was born and raised in the Netherlands and has lived in the US since 1993. She worked as a teacher of science and math in the Netherlands, Tanzania and the US for a decade. She currently works as a freelance medical and technical translator and is the owner of Molenaar Translations LLC, based in Colorado.

Mery is certified by the American Translators Association for translation from English into Dutch. Molenaar Translations offers document translation, editing and proofreading, DTP, and software localization. Some of her specializations include medical devices, clinical trials, technical operating manuals, renewable energy, education & training, and IT.

Mery earned her MS in Physics from University of Colorado at Boulder, BTr in English and Dutch Translation from Hogeschool West-Nederland, The Hague, and BEd in Mathematics and Physics Education from Hogeschool Holland, Amsterdam.

In addition, she serves as Administrator of the Science & Technology Division of the American Translators Association and is a Volunteer Translator at Translators without Borders.
