Rebecca Fraley-Corrado is Assistant VP of Administration & Finance for Medgar Evers College, City University of New York in Central Brooklyn. Medgar Evers is a public college with a student population of some 7,500 in New York City, and is a senior college of The City University of New York (CUNY) offering baccalaureate and associate degrees.

In this role, Rebecca leads a team of up to 70 managing enterprise-resource planning, maintaining and improving accounting functions. She serves as Human Resources Labor Relations Designee as well as hearing and responding to union grievances.

Her previous leadership roles with Hostos Community college, New York City School Construction Authority and the Fashion Institute of Technology, prepared her well for the role she is in today. Having risen through the ranks through hard work and dedications, she is known as a consummate Head of Administration and HR/ People Operations and Change Manager who has successfully promoted and implemented positive productivity and systems and process improvements across organizations.

Rebecca has led teams of up to 300 with budgets ranging up to $8 million, with a portfolio of responsibilities that have included Public Safety; Labor Relations in both highly unionized and non-union settings; Human Resources, Environmental Health and Safety, Risk Management, Facilities Management, Finance and Back/ Front-Office Administration, HB1 visa applications,
Diversity & Inclusion.

Known to be people-centric with high emotional intelligence, she holds her Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Baruch College, Marxe School of Public and International Affairs, New York, NY, and her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Criminal Justice from Saint John’s University, Staten Island, NY.

Some of her professional development includes Coastal Storm Planning Operator Training
The SUNY Leadership Development Program, Safe Horizons, Mediation & Conflict Resolution Training Program, and The CUNY Executive Leadership Program.

Her work has not gone unrecognized, and she has been recognized by the Society of Indo-American Engineers & Architects: Supporter Recognition, the City University of New York: Productivity Award, The Center for Women and Non-Traditional Students: Women of Achievement Award, and the CUNY/Daily News Citizenship Now Project: Certificate of Appreciation.

In her spare time, she enjoys travel, reading, and being a part of her community.

Bina Bendale is a RN, BSN, for Coach Bina, LLC. Offering over 15 years of ED experience, she is currently a Nurse Coach and business owner providing support to parents with special needs. She helps pregnant women who just found out their unborn child has special needs, how to handle postpartum care, as well as newly diagnosed parents with any type of special or medical needs.

Bina works offers a wide variety of services using a holistic approach. She helps bridge the gap of the hospital work to the real world. She is a graduate of University of San Francisco with high honors in both her Masters degree and undergraduate degree.

Shuvolaxmi Dutta is a Process Advisor at Suncor Energy. Suncor extracts, produces and provides energy from a mix of sources, ranging from oil sands to wind and renewable fuels.

Shuvolaxmi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Calgary Alberta, Canada. Residing in Fort McMurray, Canada, she credits her success in her career to hard work, perseverance, and finding a path she is passionate about.

She takes pride in being part of sustainability and using her skillset to work towards more sustainable solutions for the globe and for our future.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, travel, and spending time with friends.

After earning a Business Law degree, Oana went on to complete a Master’s degree in Corporate Law. She holds a diploma in International Etiquette and Protocol from Institute Villa Piereffeu in Switzerland, and she is a Certified Meeting Professional by the Events Industry Council. The CMP designation is accepted globally as the symbol of excellence in the event industry.

Outside of running her company, Oana is a dedicated philanthropist who supports numerous projects in her native country of Romania and other countries around the world. She speaks fluent English and Romanian.

Mary Ann Green is Founder and President of Magink LLC, a boutique communications and public relations firm.

Utilizing her three decades of experience, Mary Ann provides Magink’s clients a wide-array of communications and development services, including freelance writing, media and community relations, branding, SEO, website maintenance, event planning and implementation, donor development, strategic planning, crisis communications and copywriting for all mediums (articles, newsletters, collateral materials, releases, websites, “traditional” media, blogs, social media and more).

A graduate of Youngstown State University, she holds a BA in Communications, an AA in Psychology, as well as nutrition and complimentary health certifications. Additionally, Mary Ann has an extensive background working with nonprofit organizations and supporting small businesses.

In her spare-time, she enjoys volunteering, yoga, walking, reading, spending time with her dog, plus learning more about holistic health.
