Boasting more than 34 years of professional experience in her career, Christine Farrell is currently Laboratory Leader with Ati Allegheny Ludlum, a role she’s held for the past five years. Christine’s main role and responsibilities consist of working directly with DEP. She is in charge of the environmental aspects of all facilities, and works with different regulatory bodies. An average day for Christine is hectic and crazy but she loves every minute of it.

Prior to her current role, she realized the industry needed more women to dominate. She took advantage and progressed in it year after year, rising through the ranks with her natural ability to lead and work hard.

Christine holds a Masters of Science in Business Acumen, a Masters in Human Resources Management and Administration, and a Bachelors in Biology and Chemistry, attending top tier Universities such as Dusquene University.

Active with ZBT and Delta Zetta Sorority, she is also a Board of Director of a Pet rescue and Kitty rescue. In the next few years Christine plans to continue to grow, develop, and make a difference in her field. She bases her success on being a very driven, professional, productive and passionate about what her work and her life as a whole.

Silvia Maria Scalia holds more than 25 years of experience in her field. As Global Sr. Manager Field Training Programs for Medtronic, she executes designs and oversees the products and therapies trainings for the sales force, working closely with marketing directors to reach excellence.

She started out in her career as a sales supervisor and then trainer, and she quickly rose through the ranks to the position of senior manager. She is excellent when working with a team, and is a natural leader. Silvia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from University La Sapienza, 1993.

In the coming years, she would like to continue her career and grow into a director role within the company as well. She is well known for her enthusiasm and positive behavior, to which she credits her success. She is proud to be recognized as an expert in her field but also that people trust her and see her as a reliable person.

In her spare time, she enjoys cooking Italian, walking around Rome, working out, reading books, and movies.

Natalia Ozerova is a Finance Director with Quatra Industrial Limited where she oversees financial health and control of the company and reports to the General Manager and Board of Directors. Prior to relocating to Amsterdam, Natalia lived and worked in Beijing, China, for 13 years where she experienced a rich diversity of international business dealings and excelled at cross-cultural engagement. She has learned various specialties that include but are not limited to: formulating strategic and long-term business plans, researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance, analyzing market trends, developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk, conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
 
Natalia holds a Master’s Degree in Oriental Study from Far Eastern State University and an additional degree in Financial Management. Going forward, she would like to pursue a career that play to her strengths in international business including aspects of finance, business and cross-cultural communications. When not engaged with work, Natalia enjoys yoga, Pilates and photography. She speaks Russian (Native), English and Mandarin fluently and intermediate Dutch. While permanently based in Amsterdam Natalia also spreads her time between Vladivostok, Beijing, Hong Kong, Moscow and Cape Town.

Karlene Jones is the Senior Project Manager for Education Facilities Company Ltd.  She has been in the career field for over 12 years and has been in her current position for nine years.  Karlene works with claims, budgets and project cost reconciliations, contracting reviews, meetings and checks progress of projects.

Previously a civil engineer, she wanted a more versatile job so she went into management.  She saw an opportunity to transition to project management from engineering, and is well suited for the role. Her expertise are in project management, designing, civil/structural engineering consultancy and budgeting.

Karlene has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of the West Indies in 2006.  She belongs to the Association of Professional Engineers of Trinidad and Tobago and she is a Registered Engineer in Trinidad and Tobago.

Over the next few years she hopes to continue with her education and grow in the company in management roles. She attributes her success to her drive, persistence, and following through with whatever she starts.  She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.

Audrey Rouach Baverel is the Founder of Happen Consult and has been an esteemed financial professional for over 15 years. She is currently working out of Luxembourg providing consulting in taxes, internal audits, business strategy, BEPS and transfer pricing assistance for companies on an international basis. After previously working for several big financial firms, Audrey’s knowledge and skill set in the tax department continued to grow. Absorbing and continuously learning resulted in her craving independence and eventually starting a consulting company of her own.

Audrey holds her Master’s of Science, Business Administration, and Management from the Grenoble Graduate School of Business. She is a member of the LFI Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry, LHOFT Luxembourg House Of Financial Technology, and ILA (Luxembourg Administrators Association). Also a prolific writer, she has published several magazine articles as well as articles on the Blockchain Association website.

Due to long-standing function in Big 4 firms, in the tax department, followed by an in-house key tax position in a worldwide leader of e-commerce leader , Audrey built up a large/wide/exhaustive/ international tax, VAT and transfer pricing knowledge in advising Luxembourg and foreign companies (e.g. private equity, semi regulated investment funds, international groups, family companies, high net worth individuals). She particularly developed a strong expertise in digital economy and technological companies with a focus on blockchain technology (e.g. cryptoassets, initial coin offering). With such multi-sector experience, excellent capacity to adapt and evolve in ever-changing ecosystem, Audrey proved to develop creative and tailor-made tax efficient structuring solutions.

Moving forward, Audrey hopes to expand finance tax activities at her company and to develop more coaching and finance strategies. She also plans to network as much as possible with likeminded international professionals. When not engaged with work, Audrey enjoys traveling.
