Dr. Andrea Devis-Morales is a Consultant in Metoceanic Modeling for the Colombian Petroleum Institute of Ecopetrol (ICP-TIP), where she has been for the past year. A celebrated researcher and scientist, she bears the distinction of being the only woman in Colombia with bachelor’s and doctorates degrees in Oceanography and has vast postdoctorate experience. She centers her research on physical oceanography, geophysical data analysis, the study of El Niño and La Niña, extreme climate events, and ocean-atmospheric dynamics in the tropical region.
Her work has been published extensively, and she has authored and co-authored 5 books on oceanography and 7 peer-reviewed articles in international journals including Continental Shelf Research, Journal of Marine Systems, Applied Ocean Research, Advances in Geosciences, Geophysical Research Letters and Renewable Energy. In addition to her research, Andrea has taught at two universities.
A trailblazer in the field in her native Colombia, Andrea studied abroad, earning a degree at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California in Mexico and her doctorate at the Universidad de Concepción in Chile. She is driven by the desire to push the field forward and to expand its reach in her country, and is passionate about helping to mentor and encourage women and marine scientists to explore and grow in the field. In addition of being a lifetime member of the WNA, she belongs to the Ocean Data and Information Network for the Caribbean and South America (ODINCARSA).

With over 22 years of industry experience, Marta Sacramento is a Compensation Executive for NetJets, a leading executive air service and fractional aircraft ownership company. She has a demonstrated record of excellence in human resources, namely in talent, compensation, performance management, change management and is a skilled project manager and strategist.
Previously, Marta worked in consulting for Andersen, Ernst & Young, Capgemini and Mercer, before branching out on her own. She holds a master’s degree in Economics from Lisbon Catholic University, and credits her success to passion and good leadership.
Looking ahead, Marta hopes to become an HR director, and to branch further into coaching and mentorship. She has been featured as a speaker on topics of her expertise at industry conferences and events, and in a book on human resources. Based in Portugal, she is passionate about building her network and empowering fellow women professionals to achieve their dreams.

Angélica Rivera has over 20 years of experience in her field, and serves as Franchise Director for AmRest Spain. In charge of new business direction, new franchise opportunities, looks for growth opportunities, and oversees the franchising and profitability of 180 restaurants.
Having started out in Germany, she holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality and restaurant management and has always loved the collaborative nature and environment of hotels and restaurants, and always knew she wanted to be involved in the field in some way.
Angélica credits her success to her determination, goal-orientation, and being able to learn from her failures. Within her company she is known for her persistency and as ambassador for Positive Energy. Angélica is member of the AED ( Spanish association of directors ).
Outside of work, she enjoys running, golf, exploring new restaurants and concepts and of course travelling the world.

With more than two decades of experience in her field, Marguerite Britt-Hatma is Senior Legal Counsel to Maduro & Curiel’s Bank N.V. Based in Curaçao, the firm is a private Dutch Caribbean bank and financial services provider that specializes in insurance brokerage, corporate and consumer banking, investment and private banking. In her role, Marguerite oversees contracting and important documents, gives legal advice and is in charge of opening new corporate accounts and representing the bank at auctions.
After earning a Master of Laws from the University of the Netherlands Antilles, Marguerite launched her career as a lawyer for the Department of General and Legal Affairs of the Island Territory of Curacao. Having gained experience in both the public and private sectors, she has a vast legal knowledge and expertise, and is a role model for women in the legal field. She sits on the Electorate Council and is a member of the Antillean Legal Association, and speaks 4 languages: Dutch, English, Papiamento, and Spanish.
Marguerite looks forward to continuing to progress in her chosen field. Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys travel and is an avid reader.

Sarah Gambrell is Business Development Director at Zoetis. Sarah has been working in the medical field since her days in college where she worked in a home health agency to pay her university tuition. Upon graduating, Sarah worked in surgical device sales for Cook Medical, Idexx Laboratories and in 2012 she moved to NYC to pursue a surgical device sales career with Ethicon (Johnson & Johnson).
Sarah is an accomplished public speaker and often speaks at national conferences promoting her latest products to large audiences such as the 70,000 attendee conference last year in Orlando. She sees herself moving up the corporate ladder in PH sales over the next three to five years and becoming either a trainer, regional manager of possibly becoming an entrepreneur.
One of her main keys to success is her work ethic demonstrated by her desire to do “whatever is necessary to get the job done.” She connects well with her customer because she has empathy, understands their needs by listening carefully, and always solutions focused. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
