Jill Anderson is the Owner and Principal Designer at Nightfall Lingerie, an upscale boutique lingerie firm working with only the finest quality of 100% Mulberry silk that is 19 momme. A hands-on designer, she works with her products through all phases of design and production, finance and presentation of her slips, robes, silk pillowcases, lace and other home and boudoir offerings.

Entrepreneurial by nature, Jill always knew she wanted to go into business for herself. It was a natural evolution to pair her talent for sewing and creative design with her passion for helping women to love themselves. She followed her passions, and found that no matter what curveball life throws or hurdles need to be overcome, a day of laughter or a tear or two in today’s era of insecurity—in which everyone is expected to do more, better, faster—we need to take a moment and slip on some luxurious silk, sit back and take a deep breath and feel that life is awesome.

She feels that loving yourself is the key to all true elegance. Whether you have a special someone or are amazingly independent, a woman needs to be her own kind of beautiful, because YOU earned it!

Today, Jill has three adult children, but she felt when they were younger that there was very little time to do anything extra for herself.  Between a full-time job she loved, commuting three hours a day, 10-year-old twins and a 12-year-old, dedicating herself to giving her kids a stable home was all-consuming. She attended Ryerson University for continuing education in Project Management and went on to attend the University of Toronto to receive accreditation in Risk Management. Following her successful 24-year career in the corporate banking and financial sector, based in Toronto, she knew it was finally time to manifest her dream.

Jill credits her success to self-motivation, creativity, and passion. Outside of running Nightfall Lingerie, she enjoys travel, golf tennis and sewing.
