Silvia Freitas is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Elloplural, a professional training and coaching organization based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She has had her company for nearly 2 years and she and her staff are dedicated to corporate training, focusing on soft skills. They personalize their training curriculum in Portuguese or English, with an international staff, offering corporate or individual assistance and expertise in Communication, Culture and Leadership. They work with workshops and one on one coaching. They are dedicated to sharpening the executives’ professional skills to move to the next level of their corporate development.
 
Silvia is a very accomplished executive, having worked with Berlitz for over 25 years. She started as a Unit Coordinator and Franchise Manager for Berlitz in Brazil. In BSP – Business School São Paulo, where she acted as product manager and Business Development Manager, she participated in strategic planning and worked on International Modules in Canada, Switzerland, China and Brazil. Silvia worked as LC Director and Corporate Relations Director for Berlitz responsible for Global Leadership Training at Berlitz Brazil.
 
Silvia is also working as Director of Corporate Relations for Elloplural. She has expertise in Sales and Business Development, and completed her Executive MBA in International Management at The Business School of Sao Paulo. She also studied at The University of Toronto in an International Module in Managing in a Global Economy. She completed her bachelor’s degree in English Languages and English Literature. She is also Certified as a Global Leadership Trainer, and is multilingual in English, Portuguese, French, and Spanish. Her career goals are to grow her company Internationally.

With over 13 years of experience in the management industry, Natascha Pramhas is the Senior Marketing Manager at MED-EL. In this role, her responsibilities consist of event management, B2B conferences, international workshops, project management, branding, and coordinating international teams and more recently setting up the field of Competitive Marketing Intelligence (CI) at MED-EL. Natascha is known for her expertise in marketing, branding and project management.
 
Natascha holds her Master of Science in International Business and Economic Studies. Moving forward, she plans to bring CI at a professional level and expanding her responsibilities and team. She hopes to network as much as possible with likeminded professionals worldwide.
 
In her spare time, Natascha enjoys spending time with her family, and if time allows pursuing scuba diving.

Talitha Saez Cardoso is a lawyer at Fintopia, a Chinese Fintech, where she has been since January 2019. She spends her days reviewing contracts, learning about Chinese tradition, economy, society and education, also explaining laws related to data protection and fintechs’ regulations of the Central Bank of Brazil; which is very relevant to develop cultural understanding. Initially having been drawn to the women’s rights sector, she became highly specialized in corporate law and remains an advocate for women’s equality and advancement within the corporate sector.

She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of São Paulo, class of 2017. Looking ahead, she plans to apply for a PhD program and to continue studying and progressing in her field of trade and law. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other likeminded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.

Dena Thompson possesses over 30 years of total experience in risk and compliance. As Operations Director of Artex Risk Solutions (Cayman) Limited, she conducts internal AML/compliance audits and reviews,, and leads all areas of regulatory and supervisory risk and compliance for Artex and its clients. She holds a diploma in her expertise and is a member of ACAMS.
 
Proud to have thrived in a male dominated industry, Dena credits her success to having a strong support system and working with the best professionals in the Cayman Islands Financials Services Industry. Looking ahead, she wants to continue to lead in her chosen profession and participate in industry initiatives. An avid soccer fan, she loves traveling, and her favorite place to visit currently is the continent of Asia. With a decade of experience in neuroscience and clinical research, Amy K. Starosciak, PhD is the Director of Outcomes Research at Baptist Health South Florida and Voluntary Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Translational Medicine at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. She is responsible for the development and oversight of health services and outcomes research and provides leadership and guidance to ensure productive and meaningful research, performance improvement, evidence-based practice, translation of research to practice, and dissemination.
 
Dr. Starosciak earned her PhD in Neuroscience at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. She is also a member of the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, the Association of Clinical Research Professionals, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Moving forward, she hopes to continue advancing in her career and to network with likeminded professionals worldwide. In her spare time, Dr. Starosciak participates in outreach events for stroke, neuroscience, and STEM and enjoys karaoke and cross-stitch.
