Petrina Singh-Naipaul has spent the last 5 years as an Account Payables Co-Ordinator and is now an Accountant for Valaris Plc. She handles the accounts payable function, as well as journals and accruals, and general finance. She always had a liking for accounting and enjoys what she does.

Prior to this, she worked in Service, Retail, Construction and now Oil and Gas Industry. Altogether, a well-rounded young lady, who is ready and has set her eyes on new challenges.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from ACCA UK and looking ahead plans to complete her dissertation and is moving on to her MBA this year and will continue to grow in this area. She is pleased to have enjoyed a natural progression in her field and cites her biggest challenge as finding the work-life balance. She credits her success to the support of her family.

As CEO of KYO Maintenance, Karla Parfitt oversees a thriving property management firm. They offer property maintenance, commercial & residential renovations, landscaping and cleaning services to their clients, and are quickly growing into a fixture in the Smith’s Parish, Bermuda community.

Additionally, Karla has served as Case Manager and Assessment Officer for the Department of Corrections for over 5 years. She provides case management, provides psychological and drug assessments, counseling, identify high-risk behaviors and assist with treatment planning, and reintegration planning.   She specializes in social psychology and is committed to helping to make her community safer through rehabilitation and helping prisoners to take steps to improve their lives and skills.

Karla holds a master’s degree in Psychology from Walden University and is a member of the American Psychological Association and is currently the Chairperson for the Bermuda College Alumni Association. She is enrolled in the Certificate of Nursing Assistant program as well as Message Therapy. She is also involved in many community events and programs. She is skilled in program development, coaching and change management, and credits her success to determination and hard work. In her spare time, she enjoys networking, travel, sports, local and international politics, spending quality time with her family, and helping people where possible.

Magali Malvarez Pasche is the CEO of Loralie Group and OCRA (Switzerland) Sarl,  in Switzerland. Offering over 15 years experience in International Finance Companies in addition to being an experienced Hotelier, she has managed a hotel for over 15 years. She has a diverse background in Fiduciary Services, and is currently Partner in two international financial service companies in the Lausanne area in Switzerland.

Magali specializes in incorporating companies internationally but specifically in Switzerland. Having joined both companies over 9 years ago, she has also worked in the Hospitality, Human Resource, Accounting, and International Tax sectors.

She holds a MBA from The Ecole Hoteliere de Geneve (EHG) in 1988. Magali is also part of The Vaud Chamber of Commerce in Switzerland and is a member of several other Joint Chamber of commerce. She is very active in Philanthropic  associations and as well as in the Swiss Scouts and is a Senior Committee Member now.

Althea Ricketts is Associate Vice President Global Marketing & Sales Operations, at Shure Incorporated, the world’s leading manufacturer of microphones and audio electronics.

Since joining Shure in 1992, and has held several positions in her 28 years with the Company. Specializing in marketing, US sales, international sales, customer service, product services, and strategic planning, she rose through the ranks in a natural progression. She also excels in sales & operations planning, business process optimization, business analytics & multi-year planning, project management & program management, ERP implementation & support, CRM implementation & support, and Salesforce.

Althea has excelled in business process optimization, and has been critical in all of the customer facing efficiency initiatives at Shure, during her long tenure. She was the lead resources for the implementation of the secure Dealer Extranet, which allowed our US customers to have a self-serve option for the majority of their Customer Service, Sales and Marketing needs. With the success in the US, this secure extranet was rolled out in our International offices. Althea was also a key leader in our Value Chain Stabilization project, that optimized our end to end Supply Chain. Althea is the subject matter expert for the Order to Cash process, and always has our customer’s in mind when executing an initiative. With her experience in both the Domestic and International markets, Althea has a Global perspective that is well rounded.

Before joining Shure, Althea worked in the financial planning, entertainment, and manufacturing industries. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Grinnell College, and an MBA, with honors, and a concentration in International Business, from Keller Graduate School of Management – DeVry University
