Sylvia Cazenave-Lavie is the President of C.LAVIE Cosmétiques, a French company focused on converting plant based materials to every day, hypo-allergenic cosmetic usage. In this role, Sylvia is known for her dynamic leadership skill and unmatched expertise in logistics, bookkeeping, administration, communications, products allocation and organic products.

Prior to launching C.LAVIE Cosmétiques, Sylvia began to notice that whether these products were carried by perfumers, at a pharmacy, in a supermarket, or in organic specialty stores , the selected products caused her to develop various cutaneous reactions : Inflamed skin, Redness, Blemishes, Eczema.

She started to scrutinize the formulas of each product that she had at home, and investigated their components and the effects they have on skin. While making her discoveries, she stopped using the cosmetic products called “conventional” and turned to products called “organic”, particularly because they do not contain silicon or mineral oils which proved to be very comedogenic. She was still disappointed and frustrated, and launched C.LAVIE Cosmétiques to create products that were truly not harmful.

Sylvia holds her Master’s degree in Marketing from the French Business School, which she obtained in 1995. She is also a member of the Cosmetic Valley. Moving forward, she plans on growing the company and expanding farm activities. She hopes to network as much as possible with likeminded professionals worldwide and to improve the economy in her area.
