Krista Schouten is Business Unit Manager of VINCI Facilities, a property management company specializing in the industrial, logistical and commercial property sectors. With more than a decade of experience in her field, she is a seasoned manager and oversees operations throughout the Netherlands. Also managing human resources and finance, she helms a team of 80 and works closely to ensure the firm not only takes care of residents’ wellbeing, but offers innovative and custom solutions to ensure each client’s needs are met and supported in the performance of their organizations.
 
After earning a degree in Management from Inholland University of Applied Sciences, Krista studied Management at Nyenrode Business University and obtained an MBA from IBO. Her focus and expertise is on business for the technical sphere, and she is best noted for her analytical expertise.
 
Fluent in Dutch and English, Krista aspires to step into a senior level executive role in the future. She is affiliated with NIBHV, and is proud to be succeeding as a woman professional in a male dominated field.

Diana Eyes has over 25 years of experience in her field. As a Tutor at the Wellington Institute of Technology, she teaches young adults and has been at the institution for more than 12 years. She also works in LGBTQI advocacy and is passionate about equality and advocating for human rights. In 2014, she was given an award by the CEO for excellence in teaching.

Previous community work included volunteer firefighter and emergency response volunteer, Diana is a pillar of her community. In addition to the WNA she is a member of several organizations involved in the advancement of Woman and Diversity within the Education and Information Technology fields. She is proud to serve as an example to her students and to have helped pave the way for young transgender members of her community. She has faced much peer pressure and judgment for choosing to live openly and true to herself and credits her success to the encouragement from her peers and her own natural teaching ability. She finds great joy in seeing her student’s future successes.

Angelica Bucio has over 10 years of experience building successful communications and public relations strategies for each audience. As Communication and Public Affairs Officer for ANPACT the Mexican National Association of Producers or heavy duty vehicles, a world leading industry, she voices the sector with its key stakeholders such as other national and international business, government offices and media.

Driven by the desire to keep on with the challenges, she continued to educate herself and followed a natural progression in her life path. After an under degree on Political Science, she got a master’s degree in Business Administration, and carried-on specializing in Strategic Communication. Driven by the desire to help the world do better, she has worked non-stop for diversity and gender equality publishing on the glass ceiling at ITAM and at ITSON. Looking ahead, she is encouraged to keep on breaking the glass ceiling herself working in her highest capacity, helping people to progress and develop. She is proud to have become an industry leader by the age of 30 in an all-male sector. She credits her success to having an integral vision: public-private, business-society, and transversal industries.

Dr. Charmaine Condappa is a very innovative and creative teacher, currently working at the Helen Betty Osborne Ininiw Education Resource Centre. She teaches chemistry to grades 9-12, preparing lesson plans and educating students. She assigns homework, grades tests and documents her students’ progress, coordinating the science fairs and promoting environmental awareness.

Her thesis was on Indigenous Education and she is still searching for a niche where she can make some contribution to the wider First Nations community, where she currently serves. She is hoping that this find opportunities to work with youths from these communities. Her preference is online teaching since she is already in a full time teaching job in a high school on a Canadian reservation. She believes that her experience with working with minority students could benefit other professionals who network with First Nations people.

Charmaine earned her degree in Education and was recipient of the Crystal Apple award. She has extensive teaching experience, including Teacher of Mathematics, George Hicks High School – KY 2003 to 2008, Teacher of Mathematics and Biology, Hillel Academy High School – JM 1995 to 1999, Teacher of Mathematics at Campion College – JM 1992 to 1995, Teacher of Mathematics at Priory Adult Evening College – JM 1991 to 1992, and was Principal of St. John the Baptist Catholic School – Kingston, JM 1984 to 1989.

Looking ahead, she plans to continue in her role as an educator and help mold her students, guiding them down the path to success. She is especially interested in helping to contribute and make an impact in the greater First Nation Community. She believes that hard work, her passion and drive are the key to her success.

Originally from Canada, Laura Wintemute is the Founder and CEO of Homestead Denmark where she helps internationals get settled in Denmark when they move to the country. In this role, she is known for her dynamic interpersonal skill and passion for her work. The goal of Homestead is to get newcomers and their families acclimated as quickly as possible so they can spend more time exploring that new job, new school or new neighborhood.

After several years experience working as a relocation service professional in Denmark, relocating thousands of working professionals and their families, Laura found that nearly all newcomers still had so many unanswered questions once they arrived. Laura started Homestead – Denmark’s first personalized service that goes beyond relocation, and welcomes international work professionals as the Go-To Guide to help people get established into their new environment quickly, and with ease. With a new job, new home, new language, new school, and a new culture to navigate, getting settled can be a difficult and time-consuming task. Homestead answers all questions promptly and guides people step-by-step, so newcomers can get on with their daily life and start enjoying Denmark.

Moving forward, she plans to grow her company on a global scale and to move to the suburbs of Copenhagen with her family. Laura also hopes to network as much as possible with likeminded professionals worldwide.
