Thais Magalhaes is the owner of Prowa. An experienced production engineer, she was initially hired as a junior professor at the Anglo Cursinhos physics team where she had studied, growing up. She is known for her skill in physics and mathematics, and was the first female faculty member in that department. In 2001, she became a trainee in the treasury trading desk of ABNAMRO Bank– Banco Real. Again, Thais was the only woman around, and found the female representatives from sales teams would come to her for pricing whenever they could, because she could help them without making things look complicated. In 2004 her hands laid down into Mohamad Yunus ‘Banker to the Poor’, and she discovered her deepest motivation in life: making the world and its opportunities accessible to all. She took a risk and decided to transition into to the Sustainability department of ABN AMRO in Brazil. In 2007, Alcoa (Aluminum Company of America) recruited her to transform and manifest their local development ideas and properly connect them with NGOs and social leaders throughout Amazonia. She is highly skilled in coordination, corporate responsibility, social change management, project management, multi-sector collaboration, and multi-area teams.

Laura Tricomi is currently the Group Director of Legal Affairs at ISAGRO S.P.A. (Milan). She has 17 years of experience in her career. In her current role, Laura is responsible for all legal aspects of the company and she handles the contractual obligations both nationally and internationally.  She also spearheads the environmental and information technology aspects and liaises with external lawyers when in arbitration.

ISAGRO S.P.A. is an Italian Listed Company, operating in research, development, production and the distribution of agropharmaceuticals, selling in 80 countries and with a consolidated revenues of € 153 million.

Laura oversees the legal advice on M&A, commercial agreements and litigation, supporting the top management of the company in drafting and negotiating major international and domestic commercial contracts. Her main goal is to support business acting as an enabler rather than an internal roadblock. Laura’s strength is the ability to solve problems by analyzing them from various perspectives and practical business judgment, finding innovative solutions to maximize revenues and savings, minimize risk and foster long-term business relationships.

As general counsel in Isagro, she was reported by Legal500 into “CG Power List General Counsel Italy” (2018) and into “CG Power List In-House Team Italy” (2017 and 2019). Moreover, she was elected several times as “Inhouse Counsel of the Year for Chemistry, Pharma and Health” in Italy during Inhousecommunity Awards (2019, 2018 and 2016) and as “Rising In-House Counsel” in Italy by Top Legal in 2015.

Laura holds her Doctoral Degree in Civil and Commercial Law from the University of Venice and is a member of The Italian Association of Lawyers and The Association of Corporate Council. Her publications include:

·        Legal report on a judgment of the Italian Supreme Court (Corte di Cassazione), entitled “Responsabilità dell’avvocato nello svolgimento dell’attività professionale”, published in “I Contratti” IPSOA, number 11 2011;

·        Legal report on two judgments of the Italian Supreme Court (Corte di Cassazione), entitled “Simulazione e opponibilità al fallimento: prova scritta”, published in “I Contratti” IPSOA, number of October 2007;

·        Legal report on a judgment of the Court of Appeal of Trento, entitled “Prelazione volontaria e art. 2932 c.c.” published in “I Contratti” IPSOA, number 8-9, August – September 2006.
 
Moving forward, she would like to move to another company and to grow in her career. She also hopes to network as much as possible with likeminded professionals worldwide.

In her spare time, Laura enjoys traveling internationally, music, movies and the theatre.

Dr. Ronit Meshie Lami has been the owner of Dr. Lami Consultancy for over 15 years. Her work and philosophy around money and wealth is the understanding that families are made up of people with different strengths and vulnerabilities. Thus, without good communication and emotional intelligence, the best-laid plans can become the victims of seemingly insurmountable obstacles. She also acts as an expert witness, in cases of divorce proceedings related to child support and Affluenza issues; she teaches an Executive MBA course on the Psychology of Wealth, originally designed for the Executive MBA Program at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.

She currently also offers continuing education courses designed to equip professionals with a greater knowledge and understanding about the psychology of money & wealth, and the emotional and non-financial complexities surrounding wealth management and wealth transfer.

Dr. Lami’s work in the field of Wealth Psychology has been featured in both national and international media, including CNN, BBC, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, The Sunday Times, The Guardian, Financial Times, Worth Magazine and Financial Advisor Magazine.

Based on her Ph.D. research findings, her soon to be published book ‘The Anatomy of Self-Growth: Principles for successful living’, uncovers the universal core principles for personal growth and success. Dr. Lami developed her Pillars for Wealth Parenting © program, which is designed to help parents and children/adolescents develop the awareness, skills and capabilities that allow the evolution of values and attitudes necessary become an emotionally & financially strong, sensible and balanced person.

Looking ahead, Ronit plans to publish a book on her PhD and to continue to take on more speaking engagement and continuing education programs. She credits her success to perseverance, determination, consistency, growth, and waiting to make a difference, not giving up, believing in her work.

Nathalie Celia is the General Manager at BUCHERER France SAS where she is known for her dynamic leadership skills and unmatched expertise in management and leadership.

Nathalie holds her MBA from EDECHEC #4. Moving forward, she plans to continue to grow and expand the stores and to implement more development in her field. Jane Taylor has been working for AON for 28 years and is currently a Global Account Director. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing and guiding a risk team on the placement of large global insurance and reinsurance programmes.

She is known for her unmatched expertise in risk and innovative solutions. Jane holds a degree from Fryerns Comprehensive and a Black Belt Certificate for Lean Six Cigma Project Management and is a member of Habitat for Humanity International.

On the horizon, she would like to move up to a Vice President position or to explore a life outside of AON. She hopes to network as much as possible with likeminded professionals worldwide.
