Michelle Cardwell is Director of The Pillars Consultancy Limited, since October 2019. She works with clients that have compliance needs, and conducts AML audits, overhauls policies and procedures, and prepares onsite visits. With expertise in risk management and regulatory compliance, Michelle also has experience in law enforcement, having previously been a police officer.

Michelle earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Leicester in England, class of 2007. In addition to the WNA, she is an affiliate member of STEP and a member of the Institute of Directors. Looking ahead, she plans to apply to become a chartered director, and looks forward to continuing to grow and develop her business. She credits her success to taking risks, and being able to “get over the hump” of each challenge.

With over 26 years of professional experience in her field, Shlomit Tassa is an Independent Consultant. In this role, she works directly with clients on technology projects or innovation projects. Shlomit is known for her unmatched expertise in research, presentations, computer science and product design.

Shlomit holds two Master’s degrees in Computer Science and Product Design from Tel Aviv University and Stanford University. Moving forward, she plans on implementing business growth and hopes to network as much as possible with likeminded professionals worldwide.

In her spare time, Shlomit enjoys gardening, composting, and going to the beach.

Emma Thornton is the CEO and founder of LUV Wellness, LLC.  LUV was born when Emma went through a breast cancer diagnosis and threw herself into researching holistic health and wellness therapies to use alongside her prescribed cancer treatment.

Having worked for CHANEL, but with a background in investment banking and marketing, Emma decided to focus on creating luxury CBG and CBD beauty products and building the LUV community based on the belief that healthier women, will lead to a healthier world.

Emma regularly speaks publicly on topics of entrepreneurship, self-care for busy women, work/life balance, and how to create a new approach to cancer and chemotherapy treatment. She looks forward to exploring business opportunities and networking with women everywhere. Emma is also a skilled executive coach and finds great satisfaction in helping other women drive their business strategy and growth. Emma is an active member of the Nike Wing Women Board.

Tricia Favé is now a Technology Business Consultant and Director of Fave Consultant, a company she owns and runs with her husband. Her career has included stints working in the public sector, media, financial & consultancy with Marsh & McLennan and Capgemini to name a few. In her current role, Tricia is responsible for making assessments, developing plans. designing and implementing them for their clients with regards to IT Systems and structures.

A certified enterprise architect, she has worked in the industry for nearly 30 years, mainly in consultancies. Tricia is currently embarking on a business which brings training to business in addition to providing IT services and sharing knowledge. They also reduce the cost of IT to businesses with various strategies.

She says being a female is rare as one progresses in the IT industry, and she wants to encourage more females into the profession. Tricia is a member of the Association of Enterprise Architects. Moving forward, she plans to continue running her company and hopes to network as much as possible with likeminded professionals worldwide. She is also known for participating in a round table event as a panelist for Microsoft where she was called an inspiration role model for technical women. In her spare time, Tricia enjoys traveling, tennis, and yoga.

Dr. Marie Wikström Lindholm currently serves as VP, Head of Molecular Design for Silence Therapeutics, where she has been for the past 2 years. With over 13 years of experience in her field, she leads an interdisciplinary innovation team of 12 and bounces between the roles of scientist and drug developer. She is hands on in the development of new therapeutic oligonucleotides as well as in strategy and planning for the research part of the company.

Marie earned her PhD in Medical Chemistry at Uppsala University, did a postdoc in Berkeley, and eventually returned to Sweden and an academic career in Experimental Cardiovascular Science at the Faculty of Medicine, Lund University. In addition to the WNA, she is a member of the American Heart Association and the Oligonucleotide Therapeutic Society, and has to date published 42 peer reviewed papers as well as co-authored a long list of patent applications.

Recently Marie started a side business; Maclawili (www.maclawili.se). The company is a scientific consultancy, founded in response to frequently getting asked for scientific input in her areas of expertise. Maclawili is a way of sharing decades of experience in a manner that doesn´t get in the way of her day job.

A fact-driven scientist at heart, she has advanced to a position where she is leading teams of skilled specialists. She would like to continue to grow professionally while making sound contributions in applied science. She sometimes gets frustrated about what she perceives to be a glass ceiling, and would like to bounce experiences off of other women in the field. She credits her success to being open to new opportunities and not afraid of change.
