Carol Hriczov has more than 10 years of professional experience in the travel industry. With a diverse background, she served for over 34 years in the United States Army in several areas, including personnel, finance, logistics, telecommunications, and networking. She has worked in these areas within government and the private sector. In addition, she has worked with women of all economic status to achieve empowerment through the actions of education, training, and employment opportunities. As an original founder of Universal Benevolence Center (UBC), Carol focused on providing support services to veterans with an emphasis on female veterans.

Women’s empowerment is all about equipping and allowing women to make their own decisions on social and economic issues impacting them, their family, and community. Carol believes that women’s empowerment starts with us providing the education and resources needed to strengthening women’s voices and ensuring they have a seat at the decision-making table. As an avid supporter, Carol loves working with women, helping them to be empowered and to gain economic independence. She credits her success to this underlying passion that drives her. Carol is very proud of her award achievements and all the happy families for whom she has spearheaded wonderful vacations.

Currently, as owner of the luxury travel company AM Travel Agency, Carol’s role consist of planning amazing vacation experiences for clients in a strategic way, that will allow them to lower their stress, increase their creativity, and thus increasing their productivity. Carol has an emphasis on cruises and group travel. As an experienced traveler herself, Carol is doing what she loves, and is passionate about curating once in a lifetime experiences for her clients.

In the coming years, Carol plans on keeping her eyes and ears open to the changing demographics of travel in order to better serve and advise her clients, grow in the industry, and continue to make a difference.

Kerry Jarred is a leadership development, change management and talent management specialist with twenty three years senior management and consulting experience within top professional, legal and financial services firms (including PwC, Deloitte, Herbert Smith Freehills and HSBC).  Founder of Jarred Consulting – a full spectrum talent management consultancy which she set up over 13 years ago; and Ignium Consulting a purpose-led leadership development and change management consultancy she and her team support their clients from the start of their journey (strategy design and leadership team cohesion and skills development) through to actually making it happen through well designed, aligned and meaningful talent management and HR strategies and processes.

Through her experience on both sides of the fence Kerry has developed a real understanding of how purpose, culture and engagement drives business performance.

Kerry holds a degree from the University of Warwick, as well as being CIPD, Strengthscope, Firo B, TEIQue qualified; and is a Master Agile HR practitioner. Moving forward, she plans to continue to build her network and business relationships, and is keen to connect with likeminded professionals worldwide.

In her spare time, Kerry enjoys painting and fitness. She also frequently fundraises for hospitals in her community and sits on various advisory boards.

Michela Barba has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical area working as a Qualified person (according to European directive 2001/83/EC), Responsible person, QA manager. She is now a Managing Director for her own company, MB Custom Quality LTD, Quality System Management and Business Support. The company offers support throughout the entire life cycle of a product, from development to delivery, to help create value for customers.

MB Custom Quality LTD provides custom quality to create a quality mindset to save time and money, boost product value, and achieve great results, seizing opportunities to get better, and constantly pursuing excellence and improvement. Their Quality Management System offers GMP pharma-qualified persons, auditing and ISO qualifications, training services and R&D support. They also have optimized laboratory performance, compatibility studies, stability tests, and packaging support.  Logistics include a product quality guarantee during storage, transportation, and guarantees an on time delivery.

In this role as Managing Director, Michela offers consulting services to employees or other owners doing quality management business development and holds workshops and training programs.

Michela has a degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Piemonte Orientale Amedeo Avogardo (Turin area, Italy). She is a Leading auditor ISO 9001 and a Qualified Person (according to European directive 2001/83/EC). Moving forward, she hopes to network as much as possible with likeminded professionals worldwide. Also a passionate philanthropist, Michela does volunteer work for the Red Cross in America and Italy as well as with Save the Children.

Carol Henry is an International Coach Federation (ICF) PCC Certified Coach, formally coaching since 2007. Carol currently works with (female) Leaders and their Teams, both one-on-one and in groups and focuses on empowering leaders and their teams to maximize and leverage their diverse strengths and talents, and to build leadership and communication skills that foster strong growth, engagement and performance.

Carol spent over 25 years at Seneca College, Canada’s largest public college, first as a Professor and then as an administrator. From 2008 to 2012 she was Director of the Centre for Faculty, Staff and Leadership Development. In 2012 Carol struck out on her own to establish Carol Henry Coaching.

Carol’s coaching is underpinned by the knowledge that trust, the foundation of healthy relationships and cultures, is the precursor of clear, concise and compelling communication which in turn drives success in organizations.  Using Conversational Intelligenceâ and the latest brain neuroscience, Carol helps her clients understand which conversations spark our higher-level brain activity such as trust, integrity, strategic thinking and empathy. This in turn fosters an inclusive, aligned culture that welcomes and encourages ongoing feedback and conversations – even when they may be difficult or uncomfortable.

Carol uses an experiential coaching model with individuals and with teams. This helps clients develop and live in a mindset that embraces experimentation and risk-taking, the necessary elements of innovation and creativity. Carol works with her clients to become the best version of themselves, as individual contributors, as leaders and as team members.

Carol has coached in both the public and private sector. Her clients include many colleges in both the Ontario Public and Private College System, as well as in various departments in both the Federal and Provincial Government as well as several Technology firms and start-ups.

Carol received her Masters’ of Education from Brock University, with a thesis on Young Women’s perception of self-efficacy and how it relates to their educational and career choices. She also completed her B.A. in Psychology from York University; and a B.Ed. in Secondary School teaching at the University of Toronto. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other likeminded professionals, and to gaining the recognition of being a member.

Dr. Andrea Lightbourne-Webster has had 40 years of eclectic experience in the education domain. She is currently Senior Spanish and Education Lecturer at Bermuda College. Andrea has always known she wanted to be a teacher and wanted to be connected to the field of Education throughout her career. She followed in the footsteps of her mother and maternal aunts who were also teacher-leaders. Her sister currently serves as a Pre-School administrator.

Her areas of expertise include Teaching, Professional Development, Educational Leadership, Curriculum Development and Assessment, Change Management, Organizational Culture & Development and Public Speaking.

Andrea launched her career as a Spanish and English teacher at her former high school, The Berkeley Institute, which is an icon in the Bermudian community. She served at Berkeley for eight years before transferring to a neighboring high school, Northlands Secondary, where she was soon promoted to Head of Department, servicing Spanish, English and Social Studies teachers.  Additionally, she served as Curriculum and Testing Coordinator for island-wide, secondary school Spanish examinations. Concurrently, she served as a team member for the English Curriculum Testing team for standardized English Language Arts examinations. Andrea’s career extended to serving the Ministry of Education as a Curriculum and Instruction educational officer for English Language Arts at the middle and secondary level schools in Bermuda.

Andrea earned a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature, a Bachelor’s degree in Education and further a Master’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature through Mc Master University, Hamilton, Ontario and The University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, Canada respectively. She also holds a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Arizona, USA, where she taught as a graduate assistant in the Spanish and Africana Studies Departments. Additionally, she has conducted numerous Professional Development activities for middle and senior school Spanish and English teachers in the Bermudian educational system. In recent years she has certified as an Appreciative Inquiry Trainer and Developer, USA and also qualified as a leader through The Chair Academy, USA.

Andrea is currently Senior Spanish and Education Lecturer at Bermuda College where she teaches and advises students for future enrollment and will be retiring from her lengthy career this academic semester.

In 2000, Andrea wrote a book chronicling her uncle’s life, entitled Light the Spark: The Life and Times of Bermudian Hubert “Sparky” Lightbourne. Her uncle, after whom the Bermuda Bus Terminal is named, was recognized by Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain for his dedicated service as a bus driver and tourist ambassador for the island.  Andrea won first place as Toastmaster of the Year in 1999, and is proud to have cumulatively served the field of education both locally and internationally for many years. In 2013, she founded The Lighthouse Ministry Foundation which is a bridging organization established to empower individuals navigating challenging circumstances offering hope and healing. Andrea plans to grow her ministry extending to international borders in her retirement years.

Andrea is a wife and a mother and credits her success in life to having a strong and solid spiritual foundation.
