Dr. Leigh De Bruin is the managing partner of Palmyra Business Consulting dedicated to the realisation of organisation and individual transformation. She is a accomplished executive with a

15+ year track record in successful strategic and tactical leadership specifically in strategy, culture change, employee engagement and executive coaching across a range of industries.

Her signature program is a coaching program named Dragon Taming, aimed specifically at empowering women in leadership. The program aims to take down defence mechanisms established in early childhood which lurk in the dark corners of our minds and result in disempowering thoughts, emotions and behaviours. Armed with the gifts of self awareness, knowledge and truth we are able to transform these dangerous Dragon patterns into new empowering patterns and unlock our inner master. Through this approach we step in the best version of ourselves and achieve the success we dream of.

During her time in the GCC region, Leigh has been passionately committed to the improvement of organisational and individual transformation and has positively transformed companies and individuals across a range of industries including financial services, telecommunication, oil and gas, construction, automotive and logistics. Over the past 10 years she has successfully consulted internationally across South Africa, Europe, and the GCC.

She feels strongly about the importance of ongoing growth, development and transformation and is quite determined to practise what she preaches!  she holds a PhD in Business Management, she practices Tai Chi and Chi Kung at the most advanced levels,  she is a Master NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) practitioner, an accredited professional coach, a certified change manager, Heartstyles associate and Six Sigma greenbelt. Most importantly she a dedicated mom of two amazing boys which is where most of growth and development stems from.

Further to this she is a member of the Golden Key Society for outstanding academic performance and has published papers in well-respected international journals on topics that she is passionate about, for example, the influence of internal marketing on employee engagement, service quality and customer satisfaction within emerging markets.

Maria Diaz offers over 20 years of experience in her field, combined in domestic and international banking. As General Manager of Standard International Bank, she oversees operations, management, compliance, and sales for the company. With a real passion for the field, she worked her way up the ladder and is known for her strong leadership skills, also for being a very resilient person.

Maria earned an associate’s degree in Bank Operations from Nova College, class of 1995. Additionally, she is an active Anti-Money Laundering Certified Associate from FIBA. Looking ahead, Maria plans to establish her own company to help women grow professionally and to believe in there self. She credits her success to having a positive mindset and having a strong team.  Her favorite quote is (Believe in yourself & you will be Unstoppable). Zdenka Goralikova, RP (Q) has over 23 years of experience in her finance career. She obtained her FCCA in 2006 and CPA,CGA in 2013. She had been working in finance roles before and concurrently building a psychotherapy practice, The Present Therapy.

She is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario, (CRPO) and currently carries a qualifying status. The Present Therapy practice is her second career and passion. Combining both corporate and entrepreneurial experience creates a unique position to help people. The motto and vision of The Present Therapy is – Be(come) YOU.  Why Present? The Present is a reflection of a present moment where we can change, shift, make a choice for ourselves and also the second meaning to give ourselves a gift, to nurture ourselves.

Helping clients becoming themselves means a lot to her as she has been transforming her life since she has joined and subsequently completed the Gestalt 5-year training program. She graduated from the Gestalt psychotherapy at the Gestalt Institute Toronto in 2017.

Looking ahead, she continues growing her private therapy practice, collaborating with others and creating new services.

During COVID 19 she has been working with the Career Foundation in Hamilton and Mississauga educating young adults about their mental health and opening up their potential to transform and change their lives. She also delivered a workshop on coping skills in troubled times.

She credits her success to leading by example, ongoing improving her skills and tuning to others. Combining Gestalt training, spirituality and ongoing personal and professional growth,  she is proud to help her clients, empower younger generations or mentor new immigrants in Canada.

In 2019, Zdenka joined the Gestalt Institute Toronto’s Board of Directors as a board member and focuses on steering the education of future therapists.

Alexandra Howard Turcios obtained her law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and holds a Diploma in Advanced Procedural Law and Litigation from the same university. She is currently with Jarry IP, a law firm created in 2013, dedicated to the advice and management in Industrial and Intellectual Property. Alexandra offers the best service and advice as it has been so far. Prior, she was with Saenz de Santa Maria Abogados as a partner, and Alexandra also worked as Intellectual Property Manager at CMPC a Chilean multinational Company, where she directed the management and strategy of the Company’s Intellectual Property.

During her time in Australia, she worked as a foreign lawyer at Phillips, Ormonde & Fitzpatrick, a leading industrial property law firm.

Alexandra is vice president and was recently re-elected to the Board of Directors of ACHIPI (Chilean Association of Intellectual Property) and an INTA member.

Miriam Marcus is the founder and Director of Volunteer Israel for four years.  Volunteer Israel is an organization that recruits volunteers from around the world and places them with the best charities available in Israel.

Miriam has found potential foreign volunteers and run programs for them at an organization that cares for people with intellectual disabilities in Israel for close to 15 years. Four years ago she opened her own company which helps match potential volunteers from around the world with charitable organizations in Israel. As well as helping them get their documents so that they can be given official volunteer visas through Israel’s Social Affairs and Interior Ministries, she keeps in touch with them after arrival to ensure that their experience is satisfying.

Prior to owning her own business, she was the senior member of a Resource and Development department and head of the  foreign volunteer program at a previous company and has excellent public relations skills and fundraising experience.

She received her Bachelors degree in teaching, and applies those skills in all facets of her work as well. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
