With over a decade of professional experience in her field, Safiya Ibn Garba is the Founder and Programme Director of the Empowering Women for Excellence Initiative where she is known for her dynamic interpersonal skill and unmatched expertise in mentoring.

She is currently studying for a Doctoral Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies at the UN Mandated, University for Peace Costa Rica. She. Holds a Masters Degree in Sustainable Peace in the Contemporary World from University for Peace, and a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from University of Benin, Nigeria.

Safiya has had diverse theoretical and field experience in facilitation, peace building and development. Her expertise in practical events and project management, ICT and business expertise and experience are also an asset to her work and life every day.

In addition to her work at EWEI, Safiya leads the Institutional Learning Department at Generations For Peace, an international peacebuilding organization where she supports the trainings, competency development, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning for staff and volunteers cross 50 countries around the world.

Safiya is also a member of the International Association of Facilitators (IAF), and is an OnFrontiers expert and member of The BoardRoom Africa where she continues to share her expertise for the betterment of girls and women’s lives in Africa and globally.

Karen Gray spent 27 years in the Financial Services Industry (12 of those as a Financial Advisor) and began writing speeches and coaching part-time in 2008. What started as a necessity for a single mom blossomed into a side hustle and ultimately became her life’s passion. Today, Karen is a Professional Speaker and Mindset Coach and whose mission is to help women embrace their authenticity and develop the confidence to pursue their dreams, business, career, calling, and BEST LIFE!
 
Karen helps professionals struggling with transitions, imposter syndrome, confidence and mindset. She loves speaking to professional groups or educational workshops and is looking to expand and explore opportunities.   She also hosts a Podcast called “ROCK MOVERS,” where she showcases amazing women who are making a positive impact on their world.
 
Karen is a member of IPEC Coaching Alumni and the Texas Women Business Association. Moving forward, she looks forward to connecting and helping many women in the Dallas, TX area and around the world.  In her spare time, Karen enjoys travel, writing and dance.

Joyce Z. Wazirali is the founder of Unity Conscious Leadership® (UCL®), coach, counsellor, trainer, speaker, author and entrepreneur. In this role, she instructs individuals and leaders on how they can change their environment and conquer personal issues.

UCL® is a new paradigm on leadership; to overcome and transform crises for personal, cultural and professional growth; for more health, happiness and peace.

Since more than three decades Joyce have been successfully guiding more than 1,000 individuals  and CEOs from the perspective of UCL®; during six years, she was a member of a supervisory board of a corporation with 600 General practitioners; at the age of 23, she was co-founder, CEO and HR-manager of the Plasa Group, a company in business services. Within 13 years she had built a successful company with 80 staff members. The clients and staff members were their greatest ambassadors.

The ‘lens’ of Unity Conscious Leadership was one of the success factors of the Plasa Group.
She has used this ‘lens’ unconsciously, until she discovered it while she was writing her upcoming book  ‘Unity Conscious leadership’, which will be published in 2020. Here you will find extensive theory and practical examples about UCL®.

Joyce holds her Doctoral degree in Labor & Work Psychology from a university in the Netherlands and is a member of the Talent Coach Society and NLP Program Trainer. Also a prolific writer, she is currently writing a book about leadership and has been previously published. Moving forward, she plans on giving lectures all over the world and hopes to network with likeminded professionals worldwide.

In her spare time, Joyce enjoys travel, reading, writing and art.

With over 30 years of professional experience in international relations and strategic communication, Natacha Rajakovic has just been appointed Internal Communications advisor in the Office of the OSCE (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe) Secretary General. Having served as OSCE Deputy Spokesperson/Deputy Head of Communication and Media Relations for six years, she is now advising leadership and working on setting up an internal communication function for the organization. In this role, she establishes objectives, planning, related processes and messaging.
 
Natacha holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and Comparative Politics from Columbia University, which she obtained in 1985, as well as a Master’s degree in International Relations from the Paris Institute of Political Science. Moving forward, she plans to continue to progress in her field and to help others. She hopes to network as much as possible with likeminded professionals worldwide.
 
In her spare time, Natacha enjoys travel. photography, writing and is an advocate for animal rights.

Lynda Gimena Estupiñán Peñaloza is a financial executive with extensive knowledge in finance, external auditing, risk management, internal control, expansion projects and organizational transformation. She has more than 20 years of experience, mainly in financial Audits and consulting for different industries, and has 3 years of experience in SSC deployments for LATAM and Americas.

A CPA and Finance Auditor, Lynda holds an MBA in Finance from the Universidad de los Andes. Looking ahead, she plans to continue to grow and progress in her business, and credits her success to continuous learning and education, and being focused on her goals. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other likeminded professionals, and to gaining the recognition of being a member.
