Offering many years of experience in leadership and management, she excels in Strategic Leadership, Commercial Thinking, and Sales & Marketing Management. She has extensive experience as an accomplished Business Leader as Co-founder and Director of a long-standing participant in the South African Medical Support Services Sector.

 

eMD Technologies (Pty) Ltd was established in early 2004, to fill a gap in the Private Medical Practice Support Service Sector. Her role within this operation has been highly progressive across its two decades. Initially facilitating diverse aspects regarding the start-up of a new entrepreneurial venture [Client Engagement, Marketing & Sales, Day-To-Day Operational Activities, Financial & Administrative Coordination], as the business grew my role evolved to cover more Senior Financial and Human Resource Management aspects.

 

From 2017, as the company reached its pinnacle, she assumed the role of COO – maintaining accountability for the highest-level of strategic business operation across comprehensive areas of functioning. The current company profile under her oversight includes: a Client Base of 3000 Healthcare Professionals Nationally, a Staff Compliment of 127 Members Nationwide, and an Operating Budget of ZAR 50 Mil variable to business needs.

Marilu Fojas is Manager of Woodridge Haven LLC, an adult family care home that provides a high level of compassionate, consistent care. She is passionate about her work and credits her success to hard work, dedication and drive.

After working in the space and government sectors for two decades, Kellie Ann Terrones has transitioned to coaching full time and is now the CEO and owner of Silent Scars Abuse Recovery Coach. A domestic violence victim advocate, she recognizes and believes domestic violence awareness needs a louder voice of support. Her purpose and mission are geared towards spreading the word, to no longer let domestic violence be invisible and lonely, to help others cope with triggers and overcome trauma, and to reverse the abuse mindset that has been instilled in them so they can once again be unapologetically whole again.
 
While serving as Project Specialist for Virgin Galactic, Kellie regularly went above and beyond to help make commercial space travel become a reality. She is based in Glendale, California and has draws upon experience in the space industry as she supports the Engineering and Program team. She was recently awarded the Virgin Star of the year for Virgin Galactic and travelled to London to represent The Spaceship Company.
 
Previously, Kellie spent 6 years at NASA, working on Space Shuttle missions and X planes.  She graduated at the top of her class in Business and Architecture at City College and is working toward a degree in Neuro Linguistic Programming. She is also a certified Life and Health Coach, and the founder of inspirational podcast Women’s Empowerment Junkie, which empowers women through their stories and life’s journeys of helping others speak their truths. She loves to inspire other women who have survived the trauma of domestic violence, and encourage them to live their best lives and love who they are.
 
Outside of her professional endeavors, Kellie is learning to fly and will soon complete a private pilot’s license. She enjoys music, travel and meditation, and is always keen to pursue deeper research in the areas of her passion.

Maria Beyeler-Sapiente has over 18 years of experience in her field. As Legal Officer at the World Intellectual Property Organization, she oversees policy, legal and awareness matters related to digital ecosystem of IPRs enforcement. She has enjoyed following a natural progress in her career, and is passionate about her work.
 
Maria joined the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in April 2002 where she now works as Legal Officer at the Building Respect for IP (BRIP) Division, Global Challenges and External Partnership Sector, after few years spent as lawyer in the private sector of trademark.
 
In WIPO she worked in various institutional and commercial legal affairs sectors of the Organization, (Finance, Office of the Legal Counsel, HRMD) with an extensive knowledge of the Organization’s diplomatic, business and administrative management programs, structures, regulations and policies.
 
Since 2017, she has been a part of the BRIP Division’s team where she deals with activities in the field of Policy and International Cooperation, Technical Assistance and Capacity Building and Strategic Assistance and Awareness.
 
Maria earned a master’s degree in International Human Rights Law from the University of Nottingham (UK). She credits her success to dedication, hard work and producing results. She is looking forward to connecting with likeminded professionals.

As a CPA for over 25 years and a lawyer for over 12 years, Megan Samuel-Fields carries a wealth of experience as a CEO and CFO, as well as a consultant in many areas of business. She is also a life coach with a focus on teens and young adults. In addition to this, Megan is currently a PhD student, pursuing her doctoral studies in creative leadership for innovation and change.
 
Megan holds her Master’s degree in Finance and Financial Law from the University of London and is a member of AICPA and the Local Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Eastern Caribbean – Antigua Branch. Her main areas of expertise are in strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, as well as corporate law.
 
She loves to collaborate to solve problems, and her Consulting firm, SamuelFields Consulting Group Ltd., collaborates with various consultants to meet the specifications of its clients.
 
As a life-long learner, Megan believes she has a lot to offer as an advisor to young people and entrepreneurs.  She is a life coach and focuses mainly on academic coaching, finance coaching and health and wellness coaching, through her firm called “Tomorrow starts Now”
 
In her spare time, Megan enjoys traveling, reading, and running.
