After over 25 years of service as a Human Resources Advisor with the United Nations Development Program, Alemtsahaye Girma is now retired and works as a consultant. She served as a global Resources Manager for UNDP and recently worked as a Senior HR Business Partner in the Regional Bureau for Africa, UNDP New York as well as the HR focal point for 45 countries in Africa.
Over two decades of experience in HR makes her an expert in the field. She has seen so many changes over the years and has witnessed countless individuals and countries benefit from the development work. She holds interests in mentoring and supporting young talent to gain knowledge and experience and build future careers. She believes in development work to help humanity in education, health, poverty reduction, crisis prevention and environmental protection and credits her success in her career to perseverance as well as the ability to adapt to change.
She resides in New Jersey, USA and enjoys travel in her spare time.

Stela Tasu is no stranger to upholding a luxury standard in the exacting and highly competitive fitness and leisure industry. An experienced Spa and Retail Director with a demonstrated history of working in the hospitality industry, she currently serves as Director of the Los Angeles Athletic Club’s Spa and Retail department, across several locations. She has been in the role since 2017 and is highly skilled in sales, coaching, hospitality and hotel management, with a demonstrated track record of customer satisfaction.
Prior to joining the LAAC team, Stela was Spa and Salon Supervisor at Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC in Laguna Niguel. She comes from a background in operations and earned an associates degree in Business Administration and General Management from Heinrich-Heine Universität in Düsseldorf. She is passionate about the field and is known for upholding a meticulous standard of detail in her spas. She describes herself as a, “self-motivated, resourceful, and hands-on professional with a proven track record of accelerating business growth through exemplifying a results-driven mindset.”
Outside of her professional endeavors, Stela enjoys travel, sports and cooking. She credits her success to maintaining humility, having persistence, and being determined while never giving up.

B. Marcela Arias de Dardón is a Master Tax Consultant and Director of Dardón Arias y Asociados, CPA. With more than 20 years of experience in her field, she has developed financial, operational and fiscal audits. She is seasoned in internal control and application control procedures, and has provided advice on trusts and carried out analysis, planning and control of financial, operational and administrative areas for non-profit institutions and companies dedicated to services, industry, commerce, hotels and construction at the regional level.
Based out of Costa Rica, Marcela is known for her dynamic leadership skill and unmatched expertise. She is passionate about her work and is a strong advocate and potential mentor to up and coming women in the accounting and financial sector.
In addition to the WNA, Marcela is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, College of Private Accountants and College of Public Accountants of Costa Rica. She speaks fluent English and Spanish, and credits her success to passion, perseverance and hard work.

Vanessa Mchardy has over 18 years of experience in her field of child and adolescent psychotherapy. As Director of Light Education Training, she develops educational programs and teaches and tutors students. She is a member of the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy and was recipient of the Time to Talk Mental Health Award in 2017.
Vanessa offers a rich background in psycho-educational programs that she has developed in schools over the past 6 years. She has also scaled these programs to corporate wellbeing training. She gives students the experience of getting the awareness and understanding they needed to develop themselves, improving mental health and well-being.
She holds a Masters degree in Integrative Child Psychotherapy from the Institute for Arts Therapy and Education, Metropolitan University London. She credits her success thus to wanting to serve every young person to know their potential and power. In her spare time she enjoys walking and spending time with friends. Maria Amaya is Online Deposit Director of GM Financial, where she specializes in digital finance solutions. Inspired to enter the profession by her father, who was an entrepreneur in Colombia, she is passionate for new challenges and for working in initiatives that involved major transformations. She has led multiple projects in the market and enjoys continual momentum in her career.
Maria earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. She received multiple academic scholarships for her undergraduate degree and for her MBA, and is proud to have thrived as a woman in the male-dominated Colombian industry.
